This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Ashland House & Conference Center, and since you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Bluegrass Creek Golf Course. Quality Inn is a great spot to get some rest; Brock Lake is not far at all from Peoria. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Brock Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges       down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Brock Lake. Camping is available at Kentuckiana Kampground, and the scenery at Mitchell Lake Dam is beautiful.
