Dry warm beds await you at Riverbank Lodge, and Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. If you're visiting Braun Pond from Springfield, you won't be the only one; do check out North Fork       Richland Creek since you're here at Braun Pond. Braun Pond is a good location of typical precipitation; all through July this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January.
