Not far from Brandenburg Lake you come across       Eagle Point, and Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) is a glorious local ski area. Volo Bog is a swamp close to Brandenburg Lake; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 McHenry. Brandenburg Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. The Lake Defiance Nature Trail offers hiking at its best; needless to say, this is a magnificent                  neighborhood for people who like lakes, Sullivan Lake is a lake in the vicinity.
