Illinois has many beautiful lakes and Bode Lakes is one of them. Bode Lakes is a good location to visit for more than one day, E Z Go is a good location to camp nearby, and you'll discover a lovely lake called Island Lake. All through the warm months here at Bode Lakes, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Hoffman Estates is a great choice; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing). Near Bode Lakes you stumble on the Fox River Trail which is a great hiking trail.
Bode Lakes is not far at all from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet, and dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites Chicago/Hoffman Estates, Il. A golf course close to Bode Lakes is Streamwood Oaks Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is
not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fox River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Villa Olivia while you're here, and do explore Beverly Lake, it's a pretty lake.
Stay the night at Buffalo Park Campground; there are tremendous sites to explore along the Lake Defiance Nature Trail.
