For the period of the summertime months at Blue Hole highs are generally in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Blue Hole nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Deer Run Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and for you golfers we       recommend close by Crane Creek Golf Club. The annual precipitation here at Blue Hole is about average; most of the rain falls during July while January is typically the driest month. So much amusing stuff close to Blue Hole, completely amazing. If you need a place to stay Riverbank Lodge is a great choice; you're sure to encounter some smiling people from Springfield here. Why not camp at Deer Park Camp Ground since you're here at Blue Hole, and there                  are some great whitewater spots on Sangamon. Camping at Blue Hole is great fun, Evening Star Camping Resort is a great local campground, and why not take a little spree to Cabiness Creek if you're here.
