    The beauty of Black Oak Lake is reason enough to stop by. High temperatures at Black Oak Lake during the summertime are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Black Oak Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. Not far from Black Oak Lake, you'll locate Lake Sunset which is a lovely lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Dixon is a splendid  
   place to spend a night or two. From a rain point of view Black Oak Lake is a pretty typical site; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay O'Connell's Yogi Bear's is a magnificent place to camp. Lakes are wonderful; Bass Lake is a lake that's near Black Oak Lake. At Bass Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Black Oak Lake there are some attention-grabbing things
 
               to see, and camping is available at Mendota Hills Campground. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's whitewater on Spring Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
You'll meet a lot of folks from Dixon here, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Dixon.
