Lakes? Sure, Little Flat Lake is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Big Forked Lake, you'll discover Wildcat Lake which is a picturesque lake; a great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Okawville. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Big Forked Lake. On a brilliant day at Big Forked Lake you can       take a hike along the Chipmunk Trail. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Spring Valley Golf Club, and don't forget to take a delightful little tour to Buckingham Branch. All through the long summer days highs here at Big Forked Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's.
