After a long day outdoors Wyndham Glenview Suites is a great place to spend a night or two, and Hi Five Sports Camp is a great local campground. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the neighborhood of Big Bend Lake. Best Western Des Plaines Inn is a good place to get some rest; pleasant skiing awaits you at Four       Lakes. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Mission Hills Country Club is nearby, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Lake Mary Anne if you're here; it's not far at all. During the warmest time of the year at Big Bend Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Big Bend Lake                  dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. The yearly precipitation here at Big Bend Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Visit McDonald Creek while you're here at Big Bend Lake, and if you've had enough of Big Bend Lake, Belleau Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
