Summer at Big Beaver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Big Beaver Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. From a       rain point of view Big Beaver Lake is a quite typical spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Super 8 Du Quoin, and get dripping wet paddling on Piney Branch River. Why not camp at Water Lily Campground while you're here at Big Beaver Lake, and a lake close by is Little Beaver Lake.
