Go to Benet Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Cross Lake is a fine lake near Benet Lake, and nearby you come across the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail which is a good hiking trail. Happy Acres Kamp Ground is a great campground nearby, and a great nearby hotel is Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Kenosha. There are other sites here than Benet Lake, for example Cross Lake, and going for a hike on the Lake Defiance Nature Trail is always a good adventure.

| | Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is regularly the driest month. Head up to Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing) and strap some skis to your feet. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Benet Lake has it all. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Spring Valley Country Club; if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pike
River. At Benet Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime
temperatures at Benet Lake dip into the 0's. Here at Benet Lake there are plenty of people from Racine, and if you came for an overnight stay Fox River Recreation is a tremendous spot to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. If you
need a spot to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wilmot mountain.
