High temperatures at Benet Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Benet Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites Antioch is a good site to spend       a night or two; Wilmot mountain is a great local ski area. So many entertaining things to do at Benet Lake, so little time. If you need a place to stay Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Kenosha is a pleasant choice; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Tamarack View Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Benet Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fox River Recreation, and close by you stumble on the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail                  which is a good hiking trail. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing). This lake is so wonderful. Benet Lake is a spot with many visitors from Racine. There's so much to do here at Benet Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Happy Acres Kamp Ground is a delightful spot for that. You could also check out Benet Lake if you're here at Benet Lake; it's nearby; going for a hike on the Lake Defiance Nature Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Golf can be played at Spring Valley Country Club; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Shangrila is just a very short distance away.
