Super 8 Rantoul is a good place to get some rest; a lake nearby is Iroquois Lake. Throughout the days of summer at Bayles Lake highs are regularly in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bayles Lake are in the 10's. If you came to camp Prairie Pines Campground is a pleasant spot to do that. The scenery at Bayles Lake Dam near Bayles Lake is scenic, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Rantoul. The amount of rain that falls at Bayles Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. | |
