There are plenty of people from Effingham here at Bass Lake. Lakes are perfect; Lake Louise is a lake that's in close proximity to Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Cardinal Campground is always a perfect experience; there's always Bass Lake Dam to go to right next door to Bass Lake. Not far from       Bass Lake, you'll find Lake Shelbyville which is a pretty lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Altamont. Bass Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while January is typically the driest month. At Bass Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down                  during the winter temperatures at Bass Lake fall into the 10's.
