The Lake Defiance Trail is a good hiking trail near Lake Barrington; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn. During the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Barrington get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Barrington temperatures       drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is splendid at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing); on a nice day you can take a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Villa Olivia is just what you need, and why not camp at Fox Valley Camp Ground if you're here at Lake Barrington. If you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Lake Barrington Shores Golf Club; an attention-grabbing                  thing to check out close to Lake Barrington is Tower Lake Dam. From a rainfall point of view Lake Barrington is a quite typical place; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. If you need a location to stay Barrington/Nw Chicago Days Inn is a great choice, and if you came for an overnight stay E Z Go is a brilliant place to camp. So many cool things to do at Lake Barrington, so little time.
