Lakes? Sure, Grassy Lake is close by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Barrington has to offer, you can camp at Fox Valley Camp Ground. Tower Lake Dam is worth checking out since you're here. There's so much to do here at Lake Barrington that you need to camp here for a while, E Z Go is a wonderful place for that. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lake Barrington. Really tremendous skiing

for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lake Defiance Trail, and Villa Olivia has good slopes and a friendly staff. For the duration of the warm days of summer
at Lake Barrington highs are generally in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Barrington are in the 0's.
