High temperatures at Barger Lake all through the summertime are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Barger Lake. Be careful coming to Barger Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Teal Pond is a nearby lake that you       could stop at, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bear Branch. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Barger Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Branch Campground is a great location for that, and if you came to camp Williams Hill Pass OHV Park is a magnificent location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Barger Lake you can take a hike along the River                  to River Trail, and if you get bored of Barger Lake you could also pop by close by One Horse Gap Lake. If you're here, you might as well visit Dog Hollow, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Harrisburg. Barger Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January.
