Dry warm beds await you at Economy Inn and Suites Harrisburg, and Barger Lake is a splendid location to camp, Teal Pond Campground is a splendid location. The high level of precipitation makes Barger Lake a relatively wet place; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. Why not check out Barger Lake Dam if you're here; Lusk Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot       nearby. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more to do close to Barger Lake. Dog Hollow is a great location to pop by near Barger Lake; you can run the rapids of Bear Branch. Take a hike on the River to River Trail, and lots of folks from Harrisburg come here. Throughout the months of summer at Barger Lake highs are regularly in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime                  lows in the 10's for Barger Lake. After a long day outdoors White Lace Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; why not a little side trip to Little Bear Branch.
