Go to Baker Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. For the period of the summer highs here at Baker Lake reach the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while Baker Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Baker Lake you'll meet some folks from Chicago-Naperville-Joliet for sure; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure

| | along the Tamarack View Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Volo Bog Interpretive Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; why not stop by Keene Lake Dam since you're here.
Camping is available at Fox Valley Camp Ground, and if you need a site to stay Barrington/Nw Chicago Days Inn is a tremendous choice. If time allows, Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth taking a look | |

at. You can run the rapids of Fox River near Baker Lake; Hilton Garden Inn Hoffman Estates is a nice location to get some rest.
While you're here at Baker Lake you can take a hike along the Lake Defiance Trail, and the best way
to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Villa Olivia. The yearly rain here at Baker Lake is about average; all through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A great spot to camp here at Baker Lake is E Z Go, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Deer Lake.
There's just no way someone can get bored here at Baker Lake. While you're here at Baker
Lake you can play some golf at Makray Memorial Golf Club; the snow is good at Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park (Snowboarding only - no skiing).
