Why not camp at Campers Hill Campground while you're here at Augusta Lake, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Macomb is a splendid choice. At Augusta Lake all through the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Augusta Lake plunge into the 10's.       That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Augusta Lake has it all. There is a magnificent hiking trail next to Augusta Lake called the Deer Run Trail, and Augusta Lake Dam is a spot that is next to Augusta Lake. Near Augusta Lake you find the Old Village Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and University Point Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Augusta Lake you can take a hike along                  the Cut Off Trail, and Macomb Super 8 Motel is a good site to get some rest.
