Hiking along the Deer Run Trail is wonderful fun, and Augusta Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Campers Hill Campground is a tremendous local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Irish House Hotel, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Old Village Trail. Augusta Lake is right by the Cut Off Trail, and do visit Dennis Lake, it's a delightful       lake. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Carthage Towne House Motel is a fine location to get some rest. Augusta Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the months of summer at Augusta Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs                  down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Augusta Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
