Summer at Ash Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Ash Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Ash Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Carlyle Lake is a fine local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Microtel Inn and Suites       Carlyle is a pleasant choice. Camping at Boulder Campground is always a tremendous experience, and enjoy a round of golf at Carlyle Lake Golf Club. The yearly rain here at Ash Lake is about average; all through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.
