This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Chipmunk Trail, and why not camp at Bonanza Camp Ground if you're here at Armstrong Pond. The yearly rain here at Armstrong Pond is about average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       A lake nearby is Bond Christian Camp Lake; if you need a site to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - GREENVILLE is a nice choice. Armstrong Pond Dam is a site that is close to Armstrong Pond, and Stone Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Through the summer months highs here at Armstrong Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Armstrong Pond throughout                  the winter mostly drop into the 10's.
