Why not pop by Alleman Lake Dam since you're here, needless to say you could also stop at Deer Park Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. The amount of rainfall that falls at Alleman Lake is close to the national average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. During the long summer days here at Alleman Lake, high temperatures       generally get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Alleman Lake are in the 10's. Float down the rapids of Bailey Creek in a kayak, and Lasalle/Peru KOA is a great local campground. Here at Alleman Lake there are plenty of folks from Ottawa-Streator; Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort is a great spot to get some rest. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time                  here at Alleman Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Oglesby(La Salle/Peru Area),Il, and Alleman Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Utica Koa Kampground is a great site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
