The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful. Smoky Bear Campground is a good campground nearby, and Yellow Belly Lake is right by the Yellow Belly Trail. During the warm months at Yellow Belly Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 30's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to       Yellow Belly Lake. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. A day on the slopes of Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is just what you need. All year is a perfect time in the Sawtooth Range if you like the outdoors. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Pettit Lake is a lake around here, and hiking along the Bull Moose Trail is good fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting                  covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River, and Pettit Lake Fish Barrier Dam is a gorgeous site. Around Yellow Belly Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. Nearby lakes?
