    Lake Winifred is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Lake Winifred is a location that is rather dehydrated regularly; through May this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Wallowa Mountains. Near Lake Winifred you stumble on perfect locations like Joes Gap. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Winifred has to offer, you  
   can camp at Black Lake Campground. Nearby lakes? Sure, Black Lake is close to Lake Winifred, and going for a hike on the Rapid River Trail is always a nice adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wildhorse River. This lake is so wonderful. There are good places to discover along the Red Ledge Trail; as expected, this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Emerald Lake is a lake close by. For the duration of the
 
               warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Winifred get into the 90's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's while Lake Winifred nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Wallowa Mountains. Get wet paddling on Snake River; nearby you find the Deep Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lake Winifred. A trip to Horse Pasture Basin revitalizes the soul; a good sight of lovely Smith Mountain is available. There's so much to do here at Lake Winifred that you need to camp here for a while, Huckleberry Campground is a nice site for that, and Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a magnificent location to get some rest.
