Wind Lakes

Wind Lakes is located in the Bitterroot Range. Lochsa River has a fine 20-mile-long class III whitewater run close by, the Papoose Creek to Indian Grave Creek portion. It can be said that this run of Lochsa River is a location for fun paddling. On Moose Creek close by you run into the 22-mile-in-distance Dolph Creek to Selway River portion of grade III-IV whitewater. Kayak paddlers on this segment of Moose Creek should hold a bit of skill in whitewater kayaking
or rafting. If by chance you are going whitewater kayaking or rafting, you have to always check the latest conditions.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Bitterroot Range.
