Good hiking is available along the State Line Trail, and at Williams Lake you can spot Rhodes Peak. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Williams Lake has to offer. There's so much to do here at Williams Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whitehouse Campground is a perfect place for that;       Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a nice place to get some rest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Bitterroot Range has to offer. Paddling on Crooked Fork is so much fun; why not take a refreshing hike along the Granite Ridge Trail. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Bitterroot Range rules! Do take a look at Goat Lake right next door to Williams Lake, it's a pretty lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything                  Williams Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wendover Campground. At Williams Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Williams Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Williams Lake is pretty dry typically; throughout June this area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Williams Lake; Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail is a great local trail, and the Williams Range casts its shadow over Williams Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
