At Williams Lake you can see Rhodes Peak; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Go for a hike on the State Line Trail, and if you've had enough of Williams Lake, Goat Lake is close by. A splendid place for whitewater paddling close to Williams Lake is Lochsa River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Williams       Lake has to offer, you can camp at Whitehouse Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Crooked Fork, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Williams Lake; Granite Ridge Trail is a splendid local trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Williams Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's; winter                  nights come with lows in the 10's to Williams Lake. It is very dried up here at Williams Lake regularly; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month.
