This lake is so wonderful. Logan River is a great whitewater spot next to Wiggler Lake, and if you came to camp Cloverleaf Campground is a nice site to do that. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Bloomington Lake Trail, and if you need a place to stay Crystal Inn Logan is a great choice. Wiggler Lake is pretty arid ordinarily; during the month of June you get the most rain around here,

| | and the driest of the months is July. That right there is a load of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Wasatch Range has it all. On a delightful day at Wiggler Lake you can take a hike along the Midland Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. much to do here at Wiggler Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Red Banks Campground is a magnificent site for that. Be careful coming to the Wasatch Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Don’t forget to explore
Gibson Basin while you're here at Wiggler Lake, as expected you could also stop at Horse Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Wiggler Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it
dips down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Wiggler Lake.

Bloomington Lake Trail
 | ...ington Lake Trail and Bloomington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs. There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge.  | The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
