Whitehouse Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whitehouse Pond gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; most of the snow falls during January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the warm days of summer at Whitehouse Pond highs are generally in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. You can run the rapids of Crooked Fork right next door to Whitehouse Pond, and Whitehouse Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Wendover Campground is a wonderful local campground. is a great whitewater spot right next door to Whitehouse Pond. There's so much to do here at Whitehouse Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Whitehouse Campground is a glorious site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Looking
for some flowing water? Try Cold Storage Creek; hiking along the State Line Trail is good fun.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Whitehouse Pond. If you need a place to stay River Edge Resort Motel is
a splendid choice; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Granite Ridge Trail. After a long day outdoors Lolo Hot Springs Mountain is a nice site to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.
