White Lake is always a pleasure to visit. The smiling people of Mountain Home like to hang out close by. If you come at the right time of year, Bruneau River - East Fork offers some tremendous whitewater; do take a hike on the Cedar Tree Trail. There are some good whitewater spots on Sheep Creek; White Lake is right by the Roberson Trail.

| | 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to White Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Windy Point is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at White Lake; hiking along the Tindall Trail is great fun. White Lake is a location that is reasonably dehydrated frequently; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture.
