     White Cap Lakes is a nice lake to visit. The annual rainfall here at White Cap Lakes is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month of the year is July. White Cap Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. You absolutely should love the Bitterroot Range. A brilliant spot to camp here at White Cap Lakes is Bear Creek Pass Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along  
   the Castle Rock Trail.
All the outdoors amusing stuff in close proximity to White Cap Lakes will keep you coming back again and again. The North Route Of Old Nez Perce Trail offers hiking at its best. Camping is available at Little West Fork Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Lost Trail. At White Cap Lakes during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are
 
               in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at White Cap Lakes temperatures sink to the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Triple Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Hamilton Inn. White Cap Lakes is right by the South Route of Old Nez Perce Trail. Lakes? Sure, Canyon Lake is close at hand.
