    Many people like to go to West Puddin Lake. West Puddin Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. Not much rainfall falls here at West Puddin Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Monumental Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Rattlesnake Creek Campground is a great spot to camp.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   Camping is available at Parrot Placer Campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Waterfall Trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Salmon River Mountains. Looking for something in close proximity to West Puddin Lake? Turquoise Lake is in close proximity, and the vista of stunning Aggipah Mountain is delightful. Man, is there loads of amusing things to do next to West Puddin Lake. West Puddin Lake is not  
               the only location close by, Lost Lake is a close by lake, and do take a hike on the South Fork Trail.
High temperatures at West Puddin Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for West Puddin Lake tend to be in the 0's. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Get drenched paddling on Camas Creek; if you're here you can take a hike along the Ship Island Trail.
