The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Salmon River Mountains rocks!. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Waterfall Trail, and a gorgeous lake like Terrace Lakes is a good place to explore. It is very waterless here at West       Puddin Lake mostly; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. West Puddin Lake is right by the Ship Island Trail, and do visit Echo Lake, it's a lovely lake. The South Fork Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Camas Creek. Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at West Puddin Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The                  cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at West Puddin Lake. Stay the night at Parrot Placer Campground, and get wet paddling on Monumental Creek. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in close proximity to West Puddin Lake. Here at West Puddin Lake you can see Aggipah Mountain.
