A great view of stunning Woodtick Summit is available from West Fork Lakes, and great hiking is available along the South Fork Trail. West Fork Lakes is commonly a rather dehydrated location; throughout December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month is July. West Fork Lakes is located in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Loon Creek for all you adrenaline       rush seekers, and if you came to camp Middle Fork Peak Campground is a pleasant site to do that. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at West Fork Lakes. There's magnificent hiking along the Waterfall Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to West Fork Lakes, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight                  here at West Fork Lakes. There are some nice whitewater spots on Camas Creek, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Woodtick Lake. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Salmon River Mountains.
