Caribou Lakes is a wonderful lake close to West Fork Lake, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Smith Creek.       Camping at Plowboy Campground is always a great experience, and lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at Hidden Lake. West Fork Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Dirt Oven Campground is a magnificent local campground; if you come at the right time of year, Boundary Creek offers some splendid whitewater. At West Fork Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through                  the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at West Fork Lake are in the 10's.
