This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Welcome Lake, you can go for a hike along the Ship Island Trail, and naturally,       this is a great region for people who like lakes, Harbor Lake is a lake in the vicinity. While you're here at Welcome Lake you can take a hike along the Waterfall Trail, and you're probably keen on lakes, Heart Lake is one of those close by. Welcome Lake is mostly a relatively dried up place; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. So much cool stuff in the Salmon River Mountains, just amazing. Get yourself                  into a kayak and hit Panther Creek. There's so much to do here at Welcome Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crags Campground is a great site for that. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Welcome Lake. Get wet paddling on Camas Creek. The Clear Creek Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Welcome Lake.
