    Warrior Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. From a rainfall point of view Warrior Lakes is a quite normal spot; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the months of summer at Warrior Lakes highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Warrior Lakes nighttime low  
   temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. So many entertaining things to do at Warrior Lakes, so little time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hot Springs Creek Trail; dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Mountain Home.
Blue Jay Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and do take a hike on the Yuba River Trail. You can run the rapids of Payette River - South Fork right next door to Warrior Lakes; at Warrior Lakes you can observe West
 
               Warrior Peak.
This lake is so wonderful. Warrior Lakes is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Graham Bridge Campground is a brilliant local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Warrior Lakes; Black Warrior Creek Trail is a great local trail. If you came to camp Johnson Creek Campground is a great spot to do that, and do take a look at Lodgepole Lake, it's a beautiful lake.

Elk lake is approximately 12 miles from the Grandjean campground. You can not reach it by car. The trail has mild elevation gain and parallels the river during many sections. There are no designated campgrounds at elk lake however 3 spots have obvious use. Deer and elk are commonly viewed near the lake, especially in the early morning or near dusk....
