Walton Lakes is a lake worth visiting. Camping is available at Powell Campground, and after a long day outdoors Lolo Hot Springs Mountain is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. You completely should have a thing about Walton Lakes. Going for a hike on the Granite Ridge Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and White Sand Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. | | you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Walton Lakes without first going for a hike along the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail, and a wonderful spot to camp here at Walton Lakes is White Sand Campground. Lakes; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summertime at Walton Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Walton Lakes.
