  This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Walton Lakes has to offer, you can camp at White Sand Campground. Clearwater National Forest is a great site to check out on a gorgeous day. There's so much to do here at Walton Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Powell Campground is a glorious site for that.
The Papoose Creek to Indian Grave Creek portion on
    Lochsa River is a close by type III whitewater bit, 20 miles from beginning to end. This bit of Lochsa River is not a site for beginners to come whitewater rafting or kayaking solo.
