A lake nearby is U P Lake, and a pleasant spot to camp here at Wallace Lake is Lewis and Clark Cafe and RV Park. Wallace Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is when it's the driest. This spot, the Salmon River Mountains, has so much outdoors       enjoyable things. Wallace Lake is not the only site close by, Pony Lake is a close by lake, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Moose Creek Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Best Western Hamilton Inn is a perfect choice; going for a hike along the Brushy Gulch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Summertime highs at                  Wallace Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Wallace Lake.
