    In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Waha is one of them. Why not camp at Black Pine Campground since you're here at Lake Waha; Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff next to Lake Waha. A brilliant site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Lake Waha is Snake River, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on  
   Clearwater River.
Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Waha reach the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Waha. During your trip to Lake Waha you'll meet some people from Lewiston for sure, and do explore Blue Lake, it's a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Winchester Lake State Park is a magnificent local campground;

We stayed in one of the Yurts from October 14-16, 2006. The campground is wonderful. The $4 bundle of firewood is bigger than any other place we've stayed. The hike around the lake took about 2 hours and was worth the effort. It's on our list of places to visit again....
