    It's always fun to stop by Virginia Lake. Summertime highs at Virginia Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Virginia Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Alturas Inlet Campground since you're here at Virginia Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Yuba River Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Sawtooth  
   Range for a tremendous time. Ardeth Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to.
Virginia Lake is a good site of typical precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. One of the major marks of the surroundings of Virginia Lake is Mount Cramer; it's a fine idea to explore Tenlake Creek. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Sawtooth Range will keep you coming back persistently.
 
               If you came for an overnight stay Point Campground is a great place to camp; charming scenery and nice skiing is what you obtain at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort.
Virginia Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range. Salmon River is a good whitewater spot next to Virginia Lake, and going for a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail is always a great adventure. This place, Virginia Lake, it simply has so much outdoors cool stuff. The Sawtooth Range here at Virginia Lake makes the scenery here great, and nearby you stumble on the Bull Moose Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
