You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Clearwater Mountains. Since you're here at Upper Trilby       Lake why not check out Dry Saddle, and the Chamberlain Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. The annual rainfall here at Upper Trilby Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest month is July. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Clearwater Mountains. A wonderful place to camp here at Upper Trilby Lake is Corey Bar Campground. The top of Spread Creek Point is easily                  made out from Upper Trilby Lake, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Nez Perce Trail. Summer at Upper Trilby Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Camping at Poet Creek Campground is always a glorious experience; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail.
