Hot Springs Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by,       and there are plenty of people from Mountain Home here. If you need a site to stay Best Western Foothills Motor Inn is a great choice, and do have a look at Lower Teapot Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Suites Mountain Home is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and Commerford Springs is always fun to check out. For the duration of                  the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 90's at Upper Teapot Reservoir. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Upper Teapot Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boise River - South Fork, and Teapot-Upper Dam is charming.
