Not far from Upper Stevens Lake you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Lucky Friday Number Three Dam; pleasant skiing awaits you at Lookout Pass. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Bitterroot Range. There's some flowing       water nearby, East Fork Willow Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay, and you can stay the night at Squaw Creek Campground. So many enjoyable things in the Bitterroot Range, just inspiring. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg, and lakes are such serene places, why not check out Lone Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the delightful                  skiing at Lookout Pass, and don't leave Upper Stevens Lake without first going for a hike along the Arid Ridge Trail. At Upper Stevens Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Upper Stevens Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Upper Stevens Lake has to offer, you can camp at Swiftwater Motel & Rv Park, and there are great locations to discover along the Kyle Creek Trail. Upper Stevens Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is July. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon, and a nice vista of delightful Champion Point is available. This lake is so wonderful.
