Go to Upper Payette Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. It is very dehydrated here at Upper Payette Lake ordinarily; May is the wettest month with most rain while July is usually the driest month. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at Upper Payette Lake Dam right next door to Upper Payette Lake, and a good place to camp here at Upper Payette Lake is Upper Payette Lake Campground.

take a good little trip to Camp Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - North Fork, and after a long day outdoors Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two. High temperatures
at Upper Payette Lake all through the summer are in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Upper Payette
Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Lakes are great; Marge Lake is a lake that's close to Upper Payette Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Box Lake Trail.

Granite Lake is one of those nearby; going for a hike along the Crestline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
