After a long day outdoors Waterhole Lodge is a nice location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Upper Jug Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Paddy Flat Campground is a tremendous place for that. You definitely ought to go for the Salmon River Mountains. There's good hiking along the Boulder Driveway Trail, and if you came to camp Lake Fork Campground is a wonderful place to do that. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Jug Creek Dam is not far at all from Upper Jug Creek Reservoir; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies; if you've had enough of Upper Jug Creek Reservoir, Lower Jug Creek Reservoir is close by.
