Through the warm months here at Upper Hazard Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Upper Hazard Lake descend into the 20's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River - North Fork, and if you're here you can take a hike along       the Crestline Trail. So many entertaining things to do at Upper Hazard Lake, so little time. Hazard Campground is a great local campground. Lakes are great; Hazard Lake is a lake that's near Upper Hazard Lake. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. At Upper Hazard Lake you can catch a glimpse of Bruin Mountain, and Hard Creek Basin is a tremendous spot. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area                  for people who like lakes. Hard Creek Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; going for a hike along the Broken Leg Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Lava Butte Trail, and if you need a place to stay AmericInn McCall is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Hazard Lake is frequently a quite dehydrated place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Yeah, come up here to the Salmon River Mountains for a delightful time.
