For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Upper Goose Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Upper Goose Lake descend into the 0's. A lake close by is Beaver Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the De Coster       Trail. Whitewater paddling is great on Robinson Creek; Cave Falls Campground is a tremendous campground here. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Grand Targhee; Moss Spring is an inspiring place to explore while here. After a long day outdoors Teton Valley Cabins is a wonderful site to spend a night or two; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the West Boundary Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Upper Goose                  Lake you can take a hike along the Boundary Creek Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Falls River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to nearby Boone Creek if you're here at Upper Goose Lake, and don’t forget to pop by Long Meadows if you're here at Upper Goose Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Upper Goose Lake. Upper Goose Lake is a great place to camp, Bear Gulch Campground is a great place, and a perfect close by hotel is Teton Mountain View Lodge.
