That right there is plenty of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Bitterroot Range has it all. Nearby Cooper Pass is a good location to go if you're at Upper Glidden Lake; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Wonderful Trail. Burke Summit can be observed from Upper Glidden Lake, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Revett Lake. Be careful coming to the Bitterroot Range,       you might not ever want to return home again. There are great spots to look at along the Kyle Creek Trail; Lookout Pass is a tremendous local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Lower Stevens Lake near Upper Glidden Lake, it's a scenic lake; everybody close by loves skiing at Lookout Pass. Any time is a good time at Upper Glidden Lake if you like the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is great on St. Joe River - North Fork, and Upper Glidden Lake                  is a good place to visit for more than one day, Jack Pine Flats Campground is a good place to camp nearby. Going for a hike on the Emma Peak Pack Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Denna Mora Campground is a good local campground. High temperatures at Upper Glidden Lake during the summertime are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Upper Glidden Lake drop into the 10's. Upper Glidden Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. Upper Glidden Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
