Lower Glidden Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and the Wonderful Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place in the vicinity of Upper Glidden Lake is Cooper Pass, and hiking along the Kyle Creek Trail is nice fun. You just can't imagine

Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two; Upper Glidden Lake is right by the Emma Peak Pack Trail.
A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Upper Glidden Lake; the month with most of the snow is January; July is when it's
the driest. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Lookout Pass, and Burke Summit is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Upper Glidden Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range.

cool stuff in one place! The Bitterroot Range rocks! St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon is a tremendous whitewater spot right next door to Upper Glidden Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Jack Pine Flats Campground is a great spot to camp.
