     Upper Baron Lake is always a pleasure to visit. All through the days of summer highs here at Upper Baron Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Upper Baron Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Upper Baron Lake has to offer, you can camp at Point Campground, and nearby you discover the Bull Moose Trail which is a wonderful  
   hiking trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Sawtooth Range is excellent! If you get bored of Upper Baron Lake, you could also explore nearby Little Baron Lake.
This place, Upper Baron Lake, it simply has so much outdoors fun stuff. Baron Creek Falls is a nice local attraction; Baron Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Going for a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail is always a great adventure, and whitewater paddling is splendid
 
               on Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. Salmon River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; after a long day outdoors Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a great site to spend a night or two.
Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Sawtooth Range. There's so much to do here at Upper Baron Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Heyburn Mountain Campground is a nice location for that, and from Upper Baron Lake you get a perfect panorama of Braxon Peak. The annual precipitation here at Upper Baron Lake is about average; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is generally the driest month. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful.
