Through the days of summer here at Twin Lakes, high temperatures typically get into the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Twin Lakes are in the 10's. Twin Lakes gets a typical amount of rainfall; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July on       the other hand is the driest. That right there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the Sawtooth Range has it all. Twin Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Sawtooth Range. Be careful coming to Twin Lakes, you might not ever wanna return back home again. There are some fine whitewater spots on Salmon River, and going for a hike on the Yuba River Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Near Twin Lakes you find the Bull Moose                  Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and there are other locations here than Twin Lakes, for example Bowknot Lake. Be careful coming to the Sawtooth Range, you might not ever want to go home again. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the vicinity of Twin Lakes called the Yellow Belly Trail, and Twin Lakes is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Alturas Inlet Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. Stay the night at Smoky Bear Campground. Lakes?
