    Many people like to go to Twin Lakes. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Twin Lakes. There's delightful hiking along the Rapid River Trail; whitewater paddling is good on Snake River. Twin Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place to camp here at Twin Lakes is Black Lake Campground, and why not check out close by Granite Fork since you're
 
   here at Twin Lakes. That right there is a heap of amusing things already but it goes on, the Wallowa Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a good spot to spend a night or two, and dry warm beds await you at Western Mountain Lodge. Why not camp at Huckleberry Campground since you're here at Twin Lakes; Echols Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Twin Lakes.
All through the warmest time of the year, highs
 
               typically are in the 90's at Twin Lakes; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows during the winter for Twin Lakes tend to be in the 20's. Twin Lakes gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Be careful coming to the Wallowa Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Twin Lakes; Deep Creek Trail is a glorious local trail; while you're here, you might as well stop at Bear Saddle.
The Old Boise Trail offers hiking at its best; get drenched paddling on Little Salmon River.
