If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Salmon River Mountains. Twin Cove Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Crags Campground is a great local campground, and Panther Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby       Fawn Lake; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Camas Creek. Not much rain falls here at Twin Cove Lake; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is when it's the driest. Twin Cove Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. During the summertime at Twin Cove Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter                  highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Twin Cove Lake drop into the 0's. This is a glorious region for folks who like lakes. Reflection Lake is a lake around here; the South Fork Trail offers hiking at its best. A fine sight of beautiful Puddin Mountain is available from Twin Cove Lake; do take a hike on the Waterfall Trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
