The beauty of Tule Lake is reason enough to stop by. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Tule Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. There are several 24-36' logs across the trail preventing horse travel. Hikers can make the trek, but expect to be climbing over a lot of down timber.
