If you need a site to stay Ashley Inn is a glorious choice,
and great hiking is available along the Sage Hen Basin Trail. Tripod Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls through December, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
